Summary:  I had the opportunity to be the Interior Design Intern at Kaas Wilson Architects over the Summer. I was able to gain so much knowledge and experience that cannot be done in school. I created material finish boards, attended punches, FFE installs, Art installs, completed FFE project selections, archived projects, and assisted Lead Designers in anything they may have needed help with. I was able to exercise my verbal and written communication, practice professional outreach, interact and meet with reps, and begin my transition from Student to Professional. KWA exceeded my expectations in just about every way: the culture, the people, the projects, the opportunities I was presented with, and the overall enjoyment that I experienced each and every day. My job became more than an 8-5 and I could not have asked for anything more!
